Bette Hagman’s The Gluten-Free Gourmet Bakes Bread is a necessity! I loved the pizza dough and bagels. I added garlic and onion to the Italian spices for the pizza dough. Even though I didn’t let the quick bagels rise, they did just fine in my donut pans. Ah, to have bagels again! So nice to mix it up.
I’ve been using Namaste Foods Gluten Free Perfect Flour Blend on everything. I was shocked when I made the basic cooky dough and it actually worked! I’ve baked the diagonal cookies and fork cookies.
I love peanut butter pie. I’ve mastered the topping, but haven’t had any luck with making my own crust.
I tried Ellen Brown’s Gluten-Free Christmas Cookies, the graham cracker recipe. Even though I didn’t roll the dough thin enough, I was able to break it down to use Carol Fenster’s recipe in 1,000 Gluten-Free Recipes.
I used to make pierogies all the time. I’ve been disappointed that there wasn’t a gluten-free version.
Bur Carol Fenster saved the day. In 1,000 Gluten-Free Recipes, there is a recipe for pierogies.
And they’re amazing.
